Welcome to the Broadneck soccer Club's Communty League. Our community league is for beginer/young players that are just starting on their soccer journey. It is set in an energy filled, fun packed setting as players start to learn team sport concepts and build their individual skills. Each season will end with "Soccer Fest". A fun day of soccer filled fun.

Age Groups:

Starters (born in 2019 or 2020)

Junior Clinic (born in 2018)

Senior Clinic (born in 2017)

Games/Practices held at Magothy River Middle

Season Spring: Mid March and will end late May (no rain outs)

Season Fall: late August and will end late October (no rain outs)

Cost: $90 includes the jersey, shorts, socks, and a BAYS soccer ball. DO NOT request a uniform! You will be charged extra

Starters is for pre-K and kindergarteners. Teams will be led by professional trainers one evenings a week usually from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Games will be on Saturdays, 30 minute game, that will aloow the kids to practice what they have been learning from the trainers. This is a great opportunity to get your young player into soccer with the focus on ball touches, skills drills, and just getting used to being on the field with other kids in a fun an learning environment.

Junior Clinic and Senior Clinic are typically comprised of prekindergarteners, kindergarteners, and first-graders. Teams typically receive one or two practices and one game per week on Saturdays. Coaches choose practice day(s) during the week based on their availability. Coaches may also sign up for the option of a trainer session on the designated evening.

Saturdays for the Junior Clinic will include a 30 minute game.

Saturdays for the Senior Clinic will include a 40 minute.

Teams are formed on a first-come-first-assigned basis. Please include All Buddy/Coach requests and Practice Night requests in the appropriate section when registering. You will not be able to edit after the registration is submitted. We will try to honor such requests, but there are no guarantees, as spaces are limited and coaches choose the practice nights. Once teams are built it is very difficult to move players from one assignment to another.

Please do not request to put younger siblings with the older players. The kids progress each year and the level of training matches their age group. Playing a younger sibling on an older team takes away from the older kids and makes it very difficult on the volunteer coaches.

**Shin guards are required for all Community league players. Cleats are recommended but not required.

We always need new volunteer parent-coaches for Starters and Clinic teams. Please consider volunteering to coach, assist or even help manage a team. BAYS is a 100% volunteer-run organization, and without parents like you stepping up, our children would not be able to play. You can register to volunteer similar to how you registered your child. If you'd like more information on volunteering, please email the Community League Coordinator.
