BAYS Coed Clinic Basketball is dedicated to teaching the fundamental aspects of the game of basketball. Our Mission is to develop the skills of youth players. We promote team play while building self-confidence. The goal of our all volunteer league is to focus on team building, developing basic athletic skills and having lots of fun.

Ages: Coed will be offered in 2 different formats this season. Ages 4 & 5 will be offered in a clinic style format and ages 6-7 year old's will have a mix of practice and games. All ages will be Saturday only. Age is determined by the age of your child on 9/1 of the calendar year. If your child is 5 on 9/1 but turns 6 on 10/10 of the year your child will be considered 5U.
4 year old's will meet every Saturday starting in December depending on gym availability, location TBD, and will learn basketball fundamentals. Fundamentals taught will include: dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defense and will include fun gams. This will be done by a group of coaches and will designed to have the kids move station to station and will last 60 minutes.
5 year old's will meet every Saturday starting in December depending on gym availability, location TBD, and will learn fundamentals. Fundamentals taught will include the same as 4 year old's but will be more advanced. This will be done by a group of coaches and will designed to have the kids move station to station and will last 60 minutes.
6-7 year old's will be a combined COED age group and will start in December with one 45-60 minute practice each Saturday and continue this format January. From January the kids will have one 60 - 75 minute practice followed by a game on Saturday for the remainder of the season, 8 in total. The 6-7 year old's will be divided into teams and will have a dedicated coach. That coach will be responsible for all aspects of managing the team and will run their own practice, with the help of an assigned mentor through our coaching mentorship program, if interested. Practice plans will be provided to help ensure the kids are continuing to learn the key fundamentals. Coach and friend requests are generally honored.
Season: 4 & 5 year old clinics will run from December through February. 6-7 year old practices will begin in December. All games are played on Saturdays at Broadneck or Windsor Farms Elementary.
Fees*: $75 for Ages 4-5 & $100 for Age 6-7
Info: Each player will be given a jersey to keep.
*Please note: There is a $20 administrative fee applied to all cancelled registrations. No refunds after your child has been assigned to a team.
